My black HP364XL cartridge won't fit in the printer.

For the HP364XL, there is a classic black cartridge and a photo black variant. These two cartridges should not be confused as they have different shapes. Only printers with 5 cartridge slots in the cart use photo black cartridges. In this case, check that you are placing the correct cartridge in the correct slot.
