Ink does not appear or is missing on prints after cartridge replacement.
Check beforehand that the cartridge cover has been removed. If the seal has been removed and there is no error message, you can start a cleaning cycle. This program can be found under "Printer contents" or "Printer properties". If you do not get an immediate result, the cleaning programme should be repeated 2 or 3 times, leaving the printer idle for at least one hour between cleanings. If the cleaning programme does not correct the problem, remove the cartridge from the printer. Clean the copper-coloured part with a slightly damp, lint-free cloth. Rub gently on the copper-coloured part. Use your finger to form a point in the cloth so that the textile can absorb the ink from the cartridge. This will clear potentially blocked channels. Denatured alcohol is extremely convenient for this, but you can also use water. Then dry the contact point completely with a lint-free cloth. Then replace the cartridge in the printer.
